Travels

I am extremely fortunate that my career provided me with the opportunity to live and work overseas. This gave me countless chances to explore my surroundings on a daily basis—almost always with a camera in hand. While I often traveled with others, my camera has proven to be my most consistent travel partner. I wouldn’t call myself a photographer, but rather a “professional people observer” who is more comfortable behind the lens than in the scene.

What I enjoy most about traveling is immersing myself in the local culture—especially through food—and noticing the striking contrasts that make each place so vivid and unforgettable. Streets are my favorite places to spend time: sidewalk cafés, benches, and window seats. In the vast majority of countries I visited, I didn’t speak the language. I became a master of observation to understand the environment around me. Physical gestures often served as my sentences, and smiles were the currency I used to introduce myself—or excuse myself.

These photos represent my travels. Some include comments and details, while many do not. Join me as I share my journeys and stories—shaped by curiosity and captured through my lens.
