Photography
My first camera was a gift from my parents for my High School Graduation. It was a Canon EOS AE1-Program. I remember I was given a leather camera bag, a flash and it came with my prime 50 mm lens. Ever graduation gift was linked to that camera. A tripod from my Aunt, A zoom lens from other Aunt and some fancy photo filters I was allowed to choose. Since that moment I have always had a camera by my side.
While in college I learned to process and print my own B and W images. Spending hours in the darkroom with friends dodging and burning til the wee hours of the morning. That camera accompanied me as I moved across the US and helped document my new life as I moved out of my parents house and found my new home in the Pacific Northwest.
Since that camera I have had many different photographic explorations - a video camera, numerous digital cameras, a GoPro, several point and shoots and of course disposables.
