Intentional Camera Movement

In most situations the goal of the photographer is to capture clearly the subject. With ICM you use the subject, light and your own body movements to “paint” the scene.
Often times you can make out the subject other times you are left to guess. If you want to learn more about this form of photography there is loads of information on YouTube and every other platform.

I was inspired to learn this and spent a day in Portland with my friend of many years Mark Mardon. Mark is a fantastic photographer and is a maestro while behind the lens, while gardening or fixing up his house. I encourage you to follow him and if possible see his work in person.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Make it stand out.
