In the Fall of 2024 I saw an event advertised somewhere new in Mid City, Los Angeles. It was a free Black and White Photography Seminar. I was intrigued and was looking towards taking a major life change in a few months. With the opportunity to spend more time with my camera and travels I thought this would be something of interest. I did not know at that moment that this would be the ember that kickstarted my new found passion for film.

Two years prior, I was passed a Nikon F3 from my pal, Beti Wills. The Nikon F3 when released was the most advanced for the serious photographer. Beti and I always bickered which system was better, me being a Canon fangirl and she was Nikon all the way. I am still not convinced Nikon is better but I am also not sure i can blame the photos on the camera. This girl still finds herself looking at the back of the camera to find the display…….thank you, Beti.
